ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ALL OF CHAPTER XVII, -CON--
SISTING OF SECTION 17-1 THROUGH SECTION 17-17, OF
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY .OF BEA:UMONT,
TEXAS.
WHEREAS, The City of Beaumont Municipal Hospital created-
under'Section 17.--1 of the Code of Ordinances of The City of Beau -
Mont was closed and abolished and ceased to operate as of October
15, 196.6, the City Council is of -the opinion that said Chapter
XVII,.and'all.Sections thereunder, of the Code of Ordinances of
The City of Beaumont,.which created the Hospital and which pro-
vided the manner in which the Hospital was to be operated should
be repealed. -.and the property upon which said Hospital was oper-
ated should be used for other municipal purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That Chapter XVII of the- Code • of ,Ordinances of 'The City -of Beau -
Mont, Texas, and Sections 171 through 17--17 thereof, be and the
same are hereby repealed.
