ORDINANCE NO.
ENTITLED AN.ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING
A PORTION OF THE 20 -FOOT WIDE NORTH -SOUTH ALLEY
BOUNDED ON THE WEST BY LOT 7, BLOCK 4, PERKINS
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, AND ON THE
EAST BY`:LOT 15, BLOCK 12, FOREST ADDITION TO
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS.,
AS DESCRIBED HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED -BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That portion of an alley located and bounded on the west by Lot
7, Block 4, Perkins Addition to The City of Beaumont, and on the
East by Lot 15, Block 12, Forest Addition to The City of Beaumont,
Jefferson County, Texas,'be and the same is hereby vacated and
abandoned, that portion of.said alley to be abandoned being
described as follows, to wit:
Being a portion of the length of -the 20.ft. (201)
wide north -south alley bounded on the west by Lot
7 Block 4, Perkins Addition to The City of Beaumont,
and on the east.by Lot 15, Block 12, Forest Addition
to The City of Beaumont, said portion of alley being
one hundred forty feet.(140') in length and extending
from the north right of way line of Prince Street
North for one hundred forty feet.(140') to the
north line of Lot 7 Block 4, Perkins Addition, and
Lot 15, Block 12, Forest Addition.
be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned.
PASSED by the City Council this 23rd day of May, 1967.
