ORDINANCE NO.
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE AGREEMENT
DATED APRIL 18, 1967. -BETWEEN THE STATE OF
TEXAS AND THE CITY OF BEAUMONT-FOR THE INSTALLATION
CONSTRUCTION 3 -.EXISTENCE, USE, OPERATION, AND
MAINTENANCE OF HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SIGNALS'AT THE
INTERSECTION. -OF U. S. HIGHWAY 69 -EAST AND WEST
FRONTAGE ROAD WITH DELAWARE STREET IN THE CITY
OF BEAUMONT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EXECUTION
OF SAID AGREEMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT. TEXAS:
1.
That the certain Agreement dated April 18, 1967, between The
State of Texas and The City of Beaumont for the installation,
construction, existence, use, operation, and maintenance of
highway traffic signals.at the intersection of.U. S. Highway 69
East and West frontage road with(DelwareStreet in The City of
Beaumont be and the same is hereby approved and the City Manager is
hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of The City
of Beaumont, and to transmit the same to The State of Texas for
appropriate action.
PASSED by the City Council this 18th day of April, 1967.
