(5) OF SECTION 32-8OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF BEAUMONT, . TEXAS, SO AS TO PROVIDE A. METHOD
OF COMPUTING -CHARGES FOR METERS SERVING MORE
THAN ONE DWELLING UNIT.

That 'Subsection (5) of Section 32-8 of The•Code of .Ordinances
of Beaumont, Texas, is hereby amended to read as follows:
1967.
"(5) In computing the charge where a single water meter
serves :.more than one dwelling unit, the total comsumption
of water, as measured by the meter, shall be divided
by the number of units served and the rates set forth
in the schedule 2n subsection (1) of this section
shall then be applied as though each unit had a
separate meter in making the charge; provided, however,
that a minimum charge of one dollar and twenty. -five
cents per unit per month shall be made and the total
charge made for service shall not exceed three dollars
per unit per, month. tt
