ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 37,
SECTION 37-58.1 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF
BEAUMONT, TEXAS; BY ADDING PORTIONS OF STAGG
DRIVE,,EIGHTH STREET,.CENTRAL DRIVE AND DELAWARE
STREET TO THE "SCHEDULE" OF SPEED 'LIMIT REGULATIONS
OF SECTION 37-58.1; PROVIDING A: PENALTY; - PROVIDING
FOR SEVERABILITY; AND REPEALING -ALL ORDINANCES AND
PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN.GONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
1.
That Section 37-58.1 of the Code of Ordinances of Beaumont,
Texas, be, and the same is hereby, amended by adding the following
to the ttSchedulett of twenty ( 20 ) miles per hour speed limit zones
in said section:

Stagg

Stagg Drive
East and West
"Eighth Street
North and South
Central Drive
North and South
Delaware Street
East and West
Limit of .Zones
From the intersection of Eighth Street and
Stagg Drive to a point 150 feet west of Eighth
Street.
From a point 200 feet south of Stagg'Drive to
a point 150 feet north of Stagg 'Drive.
From the intersection of Delaware and
Central Drive to a point 290 feet south of
Delaware.
From a point 270 feet east of Central Drive to
a point 270 feet west of Central Drive.
2.
That any person who violates any provision of this ordinance
shall, upon conviction, be punished as provided in Section 1-8 of
the Code of Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas.

3.
That if any section, subsection, sentence,.clause or phrase
of this ordinance or the application of same to a particular
set of persons or circumstances should for any reason be held to
be invalid, such invalidity shall in no wise affect the remaining
portions of this ordinance, and to such end various portions and
provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
4.
That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
