ENTITLED AN_ORDINANCE.AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION
PLAN OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT; AND AMENDING THE
COMPENSATION PLAN OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT.
BE IT ORDAINED.BY THE,CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
1.
That Section 11 -of the Classification Ordinance passed by
the City Council -of The City of Beaumont on June 19, 1962:
ttENTITLED AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING,''A POSITION
CLASSIFICATION PLAN FOR THE CITY OF BEAUMONT;
ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS FOR THE ADMINISTRATION
OF SAID PLAN; ADOPTING THE CLASSES -SET FORTH IN
SAID PLAN; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND RE-
PEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS. OF ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITHtt,
codified as Section 12-35 of The Code of' Ordinances of Beaumont,
Texas, be, and the same is hereby, amended by making changes in
the position classification plan on file in the office of the -City
Clerk, such changes being set forth in the booklet dated June 25,

1963, -entitled ttChanges in Classification and Compensation Plants
and filed intAhe -office of the City Clerk.

That Section 14 of the Compensation Plan Ordinance, passed
by the City Council of The City of Beaumont on, June 19, 1962:

PLAN FOR THE CITY OF BEAUMONT; ESTABLISHING REGUI:A-
TIONS.FOR-THE ADMINISTRATION OF SAID PLAN; PROVIDING

PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITHtt,
codified as Section 12-54 of The. Code of Ordinances of Beaumont,
Texas., be, and the same is hereby, amended by making changes in the
compensation plan and salary grades included in the.posi.tion class-
ification plan on file .in the .office of the City -Clerk, such
-changes being set forth in the booklet dated June 25, 1963 entitled
ttChanges in Classification and Compensation Plantt and filed in
the office of the City Clerk.
