ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PROPER OFFICIALS OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER A'. SPECIAL
WARRANTY DEED TO E. BURT WALKER, CONVEYING AN 0.'188 ACRE
TRACT OF LAND IN BLOCK TWELVE (12) OF THE VAN WORMER 2ND"
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS,
MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute and deriver for and
on behalf of The City of Beaumont, a Special Warranty Deed conveying to E.
Burt Walker, the following described tract of land, to wit:
Said tract being the remaining portion of Lots 9 and 10
of Block 12 of the Van Wormer 2nd Addition'to the City of
Beaumont, Texas, said tract lying east of the 11th Street
Underpass and south of Cedar Street, said tract being more
fully described as follows:
BEGINNING at the northeast corner of Lot 10, Block 12 of the
Van Wormer 2nd Addition, an iron pin for corner, said corner
being in the south line of Cedar Street.
THENCE North 89°591 West, along the south line of Cedar Street
and the north line of Block 12 of the Van Wormer 2nd Addition,
a distance of 82.5 feet to an iron pin for corner., in the east
line of the Eleventh Street Underpass right-of-way.
THENCE south along the east line of the Eleventh Street Under-
pass, a distance of 50.0 feet, to an iron pin for corner in
the common line of Lot 10 and 9 of Block 12 of the Van Wormer
2nd Addition.
THENCE south 401313011 East along the East right-of-way line
of said Underpass, a distance of 50.1 feet to an iron pin for
corner in the dividing line of Lots 9 and 8 of said Block 12.
THENCE south 890591 East along the common line of Lots 9 and
8 of said Addition, a distance of 79.7 feet to an iron pin for
corner, said corner being the southeast corner of Lot 9 of
Block 12 of the Van Wormer 2nd Addition to the City of Beaumont.
THENCE North 00301 West along the east line of said Lots 9 and 10,
a distance of 100.0 feet to the place of beginning, said tract
containing 0.188 acres, more or less.
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said instrument and to
affix the seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
