ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING
JIROU STREET BETWEEN BLOCKS. 5 AND 6 IN THE Mc-
FADDIN HEIGHTS., AS SHOWN ON THE OFFICIAL MAP OF
THE CITY OF BE4UM0NT, TEXAS;. AND VACATING AND
ABANDONING THE ALLEYS WITHIN SAID BLOCKS 5 AND
6� AS SHOWN ON SAID MAP.
BE IT'ORDAINED BY THE. CITY OF BEAUMONT: TEXAS:
1.
That the following described portion of Jirou Street in
The City of Beaumont,. Jefferson County.' Texas., to wit:
Being that portion of Jirou Street located north
of the north .line of Louisiana Street (a 60 -foot
wide street) and the south right"of-way line of
Interstate Highway 10, and lying between Blocks
5 and 6 of the McFaddin Heights as shown on the
Official City Map of The City of Beaumont;
be, and the same is -hereby., vacated and abandoned., and that title
to said portion of said vacated and abandoned street shall revert
to and become the property of the persons entitled.thereto, as
provided by law; provided., however, that the vacating and abandon--
ing.of said portion of said street shall not be construed as
abandoning and shall in no way affect the easement for gas line...
purposes reserved in the special.warranty deed, dated March 1,
1963, from The City of Beaumont to Miller. -Vidor Land Company, or
the building setback line provided for in said deed; the rights
reserved to, The City of Beaumont in said deed being herein express-
ly reserved.

That the following described alleys in The City of Beau-
mont, Jeff erson'County, Texas, to wit:
Being those twenty -foot (20t) wide alleys in Block
5 and Block 6 in the McFaddin Heights located be-
tween the north line of Louisiana Street (a 60 -.foot
wide street) and the south right--of-way line of
Interstate Highway 10, all as shown on the Official
Map of The City of Beaumont, Texas;
be, and the same are hereby, Vacated and abandoned and that title

to such property shall revert to and become the property of the
persons entitled thereto as provided by law.
