A CASH CONSIDERATION OF $14,120.00.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT,. TEXAS-.
That the Mayor be, .and he.is hereby, authorized and directed to
execute,and deliver a general warranty deed on behalf of The
City.of Beaumont conveying 3.325 acres of land, more ,or less,
for the purpose of widening U. S. Highway No. 6996 in Hardin
County, Texas, to The State of Texas, acting by and through the
State Highway Commission, upon receipt of Fourteen Thousand One
Hundred and Twenty (14,120.00) Dollars. -cash, said 3..325 acres
of land being more -fully described by metes and bounds as follows:
3.325 acres of land, more or less., same being out
of -and a part of that certain 12.14 acre tract of
land out of the M. Peveto Survey, Abstract No. 419,
in Hardin County, Texas, which 12.14 acre tract was
conveyed -to the City of Beaumont by deed dated Feb-
ruary 10, 1958 of record in Volume 3661 Page 266,
Deed Records of Hardin. -County, Texas, which 3.325 acres_
of land, more or less, being more fully described by
metes and bounds as follows:
COMMENCING at an -established point for grantor -Is
southwest property corner, thence South 89 degrees
56 minutes east with grantor's south property line
a distance of"332.70 feet to the place of beginning;
THENCE South 89.degree5 56 minutes. east with grantorts
south property line a distance of 138.40 feet to- a
point for corner in the existing west right. -of -way
line of U. S. Highway 69;
THENCE North 03 degrees 52 minutes east with grantorvs
east property line, same being said existing west
right. -of. -way line of U. S. Highway 69 a distance of
785.00 feet to a point for corner, said point being
th-e beginning of a 04 degree .08 minutes 38 second
curve to the left, having a central angle of 11 degrees

and the City Clerk is hereby.autho.rized to attest to said in-
strument and to affix the seal of The City of Beaumont,thereto.
