SAVERY LEAGUE, ABSTRACT 46, IN THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, DESCRIBED HERE. - IN, PRESENTLY ZONED 11R -.11t TO 1tR-31t; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE. CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS: Section 1. That Chapter 42 of the Code of'Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas, .and in particular the boundaries of the zoning districts as indicated upon the Zoning Map of The City of Beaumont, referred to in Section 42-9 thereof, is hereby amended by changing the zoning classification of the following described property, presently zoned "R -11t, Single -Family Dwelling District' to 11R -31t, Modified Two-- family and Multiple Dwelling District, to wit: That certain tract of 2.427 acres located in the A. Savery League, Abstract 4.6, in the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, and being a part of that certain 100.15 -acre tract of land formerly known as the Texas.A & M Experimental Station, and being bounded and described as fol- lows: BEGINNING at the intersection of the west right" of. -way line of FMR 364 and.the north right-of-way line of Landis Drive, said point being the south- east corner of said 2®427. -acre tract; THENCE south 810 451 30t1 west 107.75 feet along the north right. -of --way line of Landis Drive to a point for corner; THENCE north 00 101 3011 east 573.25 feet along the west line of the property for corner; THENCE South 791 25t 3011 East 282.71 feet along the north line of the property to the intersection of the west line of right of way of FMR 364 for a cor- ner; THENCE south 180 521 west -along _v6st=- right"o.f"-why line of FMR 364 534.08 feet to the point of begin- ning; and the said official Zoning Map of The City of Beaumont is here -- by amended to reflect such change. Section 2. That in all other respects the use of the property here- inabove described shall be subject to all of the applicable regulations contained in Chapter 42 of the Code of Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas, adopted August 19, 1958, effective October 19, 1958, as amended. Section 3. That the termsand provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed to be severable and that if the validity of the zoning af- fecting any portion of the property described hereinabove shall be declared to be invalid, the same shall not affect the validity of the zoning of the balance of the property described herein. Section 4. That any person or corporation violating any of the terms and provisions of this ordinance shall -be subject to the same penalties provided for in the said Chapter 42 of the.Code of Ordi» nances. of Beaumont.
