ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PROPER OFFI-
CIALS OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER
A QUITCLAIM DEED TO C. T. GARTH., JR., CONVEYING ALL
OF THE CITYIS RIGHT., TITLE AND INTEREST IN AND TO AN
0.005 ACRE TRACT OF LAND IN THE D. BROWN SURVEY.,
BEAUMONT, 'JEFFERSON COUNTY:-- TEXAS., MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: TEXAS:
That the Mayor be, and he is hereby., authorized to execute and
deliver for.and on behalf of The City of Beaumont a quitclaim deed
to C. T. Garth, Jr. conveying all of the Cityfs right., title and
interest in and to the hereinafter described property:
BEING a triangular shaped tract of land located at
the Northeast corner of the intersection.of 11th
Street and Washington Blvd..and being presently
part of the right of way of the said streets at the
Southwest corner of Block 26, Cartwright -Roberts
Subdivision.A in the D. Brown Survey' Beaumont, Jef-
ferson County, Texas, said triangular shaped tract
of land being more fully described as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron pin set in concrete marking the
Southeast corner of the tract of land as conveyed to
C. T. Garth, Jr. by William Blieden as recorded in
Volume 938, page. 479, Deed Records., Jefferson County,
Texas, said beginning corner being in the.North'
right--of-.way line of Washington Blvd, a 601 wide
right of way;
THENCE North 89 degrees 59 minutes West along the
North line of said right of way a distance of 38.01
to an iron pin for -corner;
THENCE North 45. degrees 00 minutes West continuing
along said right of way a distance of 28.291 to the
East and beginning corner of the tract herein de-
scribed;
THENCE North 45 degrees 00 minutes West continuing
along right-of-way line a distance of 29.731 to a
point for corner;
THENCE South a distance of 21.021 to a point for
corner;
THENCE South 89 degrees 59 minutes East a distance
of 21.021 to the place of beginning., containing in
area 0.005 of an acre :of land,more or 1-ess;
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said instru-
ment and to affix the seal -of The City -of Beaumont thereto.
