ORDINANCE NO. 6 X -713
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE CORRECTING ORDINANCE
NO. 68-7A SO AS TO AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTION
OF AN INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT AGREEMENT WITH
_ HOUSTON CHEMICAL CORPORATION_, A SUBSIDIARY
OF PPG INDUSTRIES, INC.
Whereas, Ordinance No. 68-72 authorized the execution
of an Industrial District Agreement with PPG Industries, Inc.
when the party to the agreement is actually Houston Chemical
Corporation, a subsidiary of PPG Industries, Inc. and this
oversight should be corrected;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That the Mayor, James D. McNicholas, be and he is hereby author-
ized and directed to execute, on behalf of The City of Beaumont,
the Industrial District Agreement, dated December 17, 1968,
with Houston Chemical Corporation, and the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to attest thereto.
