ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING
A PORTION OF A FIFTEEN (15) FOOT GENERAL
UTILITY EASEMENT LYING IN LOTS EIGHT (8) AND
NINE (9), BLOCK SIX (6), WESTGATE ADDITION TO
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS,
AS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That the following five (5') feet of a fifteen (15') foot
general utility easement, as hereinafter described, in The
City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, be and the same
is hereby vacated and abandoned, said easement to be
abandoned being described as follows, to wit:
BEING a portion of a fifteen (15) foot general
utility easement lying in Lots eight (8) and
nine (9), Block six (6), Westgate Addition to
the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas,
recorded in Jefferson County Map Records,
Volume 10, Page 99, said portion to be abandoned
having a width of five (5) feet, and being more
particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the north line of the
Daisy Drive sixty (60) foot right-of-way, said
point being ten (10) feet southwest of the south
common corners of Lots eight (8) and nine (9),
Block six (6), Westgate Addition to the City of
Beaumont, Texas;
THENCE in a northwesterly direction along a line
ten (10) feet from and parallel to the common
lot lines of Lots eight (8) and nine (9), Block
six '(6), said addition, a distance of.one hundred
seventeen point five (117.5) feet to a point for
corner, said point lying in the northerly lot
line of Lot eight (8), Block six (6), said addition;
THENCE in a northeasterly direction along the
north lot line of Lot eight (8), Block six (6),
a distance of 5 feet to a point for corner, said
point being 5 feet from the north common corners
of Lots eight (8) and nine (9), Block six (6),
said addition;
THENCE in a southeasterly direction along a line
five (5) feet from and parallel to the common lot
lines of Lots eight (8) and nine (9), Block six
(6), said addition, a distance of one hundred -
seventeen point five (117.5) feet to a point for
corner, said point being in the north line of the
Daisy Drive sixty (60) foot right-of-way;-
THENCE in a southwesterly direction along the
north right-of-way line of the Daisy Drive
sixty (60) foot right-of-way a distance of five
(5) feet to the place of beginning.
