ORDINANCE NO.
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING GULF STATES
UTILITIES COMPANY TO PLACE IN EFFECT REVISED
SCHEDULES WH$, RIDER FOR WATER HEATING SERVICE.
AND SHL, STREET AND HIGHWAY LIGATING SERVICE
WHICH SUPERSEDE SCHEDULES WHS DATED OCTOBER 1,-
1963.AND SHL DATED OCTOBER 1, 1966 AND TO CANCEL
SCHEDULE. WHA,' RIDER FOR APARTMENT HOUSE WATER
HEATING SERVICE WHICH IS SUPERSEDED BY REVISED
SCHEDULE WHS; EFFECTIVE AS TO SERVICE RENDERED
BY SUCH COMPANY ON AND AFTER OCTOBER 1, 1967.
WHEREAS, Gulf States Utilities Company on ,�� �rr,JatP 26 0-1967 has
requested authority to place into effect Revised Schedules WHS and SHL. Such
-_ ---revised-=schedules-=have-beem-filed with the City -Clerk- of the—`City of- Beauinbnt,:—
i.. and approved by the City Council;.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT, TEXAS
Section 1.
That Gulf States Utilities Company is hereby authorized to place.into effect as
to service rendered by it on and after October 1, 1967, to its customers located
in Beaumont, Texas, revised Schedules WHS and SHL; and Gulf States is further
authorized to cancel, upon said revised schedules being placed in effect, .its -
previously effective Schedules WHS, SHL, and WHA.
Section 2.
That nothing in this ordinance contained shall be construed in any manner now
or hereafter limiting or modifying the right -and power of the City,Counoil
liner the law to regulate the rates charged by Gulf States.Utilities Company for
its services within the City"of Beaumont.
