AN ORDINANCE
AUTHORIZING THE VACATING AND CLOSING OF
TIE ALLEY ADJACENT TO AND ON THE SOUTHERLY SIDE
OF BLOCK ONE (1) OF THE T. S. LONG ADDITION TO
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT.
WHEREAS, a. petition duly signed by the masonic
Temple of Beaumont, a corporation, owner of all of the
lots in said Block has been presented to the City Com-
mission of the City of Beaumont requesting that the
said alley be vacated and closed®
NOu'd, THEREFORE, BE IT' ORDAINED BY THE CITY
C0112MISSION OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the alley located adjacent to and on the
Southerly side of said. Block No, One (1) of said T. S,
Long Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County,
Texas, be and the same is hereby authorized to be and
is vacated and closed, and that the title to such alley
shall revert to and become the property of the owner of
the land in said Block bordering on said alley as pro-
vided by law,

Beaumont, has acquired limitation title to the alley
located adjacent to and on the Southerly side of Block
One (1) of the Ta Se Long; Addition to the City of
Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, and desires to have

said alley closed and abandoned of record so as to
quiet full title thereto in it
NOV17 THEREFORE, the Masonic Temple of Beaumont,
a corporation domiciled at Beaumont, Texas, acting
herein through its officer hereunto duly authorized,
hereby requests that the City of Beaumont pass an
ordinance officially closing and abandoning said alley
of record.
