Beaumont,
SEC.I. That upon a 1 property fro ting or abutting upon SMIN
Magnolia Avenue between and L streets, in the City of
Beaumont, there is.hereby levied and assessed as a tax, two-thirds of the
cost of paving and all
of the cost of curbing on said Magnolia Avenue, be-
tween ,�G� and //Y treets.
The lots, parts of lots, blocks or tracts -of land on which said
tax is levied and assessed as hereinafter described, together with the
number-of'feet in such lot, part of lot, block or tract of land, the name
or names of the owners thereof, and the proportionate amount of cost of
said paving and the cost of said curbing to be borne and paid for by such
owner or owners; is shown by the roll prepared by the City Engineer of lthe
City of Beaumont; which said amount is hereby levied and assessed as a
tax upon such lot, part of lot, block or tract of land, as follows to wit:

Beaumont, there is, hereby levied and assessed as a tax, two --thirds of the
cost of paving and all of- the cost of curbing on said Magnolia Avenue, be-

tax is levied and a.ssassed as hereinafter described, together with the

being 206 feet front. Cost of paving $682.24: Lineal ft. curbing 206:
Cost of curbing 4133.90, and total cost of pavigg and curbing which is
levied and assessed as a tax, $796.14.
Also the following tract owned by Geo. Whiteb Beginning at a

at right angles,to Magnolia Ave. 240 ft. thence South parallel to Mag:-

line -,of Magnolia Ave. thence North along the E line of Magnolia Ave.
139.5 feet: _thence East at right angles to Magnolia Ave. 111 feet: Thence
S to a point on the RT line of Reliance St. 118 feet East of the E line
of Magnolia Ave. thence W along the North line of Reliance St. to the
point of beginning, and being 139 1/2 ft. front: Cost of paving $448.43:
Lineal feet of curbing 151: Cost of curbing 98.15, and total cost.of
pavigg and curbing which is -aeeesed- levied and assessed as a tax, 4546.58.
Also the -following tract owned by Kirby Lumber Company: Begin-
ning in the East line of Magnolia Avenue at a point 140 feet S of the
South line of Long Avenue thence South along the E line of Magnolia
Avenue 389 g feet: Thence East at right angles to Magnolia Avenue 120
feet, thence North parallel to Magnolia Avenue 389 thence west to the
point of beginning, and being 389 feet front: Cost of paving $1250.64:
Lineal feet of curbing 389: Cost of curbing 0252.85, and total cost of
paving and curbing which is levied and assessed as a tax, 1503.49.
SEC. 2. That the said tax so levied and assessed shall become
due and payable upon the completion of the paving upon the street upon
which said lot.. dart of lot, block or tract of land fronts or abuts.
SEC. S. That the amount of the tax hereby levied and assessed
t,oge ther_•with the cost of collecting same and ten per cent interest per
annum -from the date same is due until paid, is hereby declared to be a
lien against said lots, parts of lots, blocks or tracts of land, and
shall also be a personal charge or claim against the owner or owners.

of Magnolia Ave. thence W along the North line of Reliance St. to the
point of beginning, and being 139 1/2 ft. front: Cost of paving $448.43:
Lineal feet of curbing 151: Cost of curbing 98.15, and total cost of
pavigg and curbing which is -aeeee-PA- levied and assessed as a tax, $546.58.
Also the following tract owned by Kirby Lumber Company: Begin-
ning
eginning in the East line of Magnolia Avenue at a point 140 feet S of the
South line of Long Avenue thence South along the E line of Magnolia
Avenue 389 g feet: Thence East at right angles to Magnolia Avenue 120
feet, thence North parallel to Magnolia Avenue 389 thence west to the
point of beginning, and being 389 feet front: Cost of paving $1250.64:
Lineal feet of curbing 389: Cost of curbing 252.85, and total cost of
paving and curbing which is levied and assessed as a tax, 1503.49.
SEC. 2. That the said tax so levied and assessed shall become
