ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING AND CONFIRMING THE ACT OF THE
CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT IN EXECUTINGA. LEASE CONTRACT
IN BEHALF OF SAID CITY ON THE 7T11 DAY OF MAY, A. D. 1940, WITH THE
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA COVERING A CERTAIN TRACT OF 5.7 ACRES OF
LAND LOCATED IN TYRRELL PARK IN JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That the lease heretofore executed on the 7th day of May, A. D.
1940, by the City of Beaumont through its duly qualified City Manager,
with the United States of America for a term of one (1) year beginning
July 1, 1940 and ending June 30, 1941, on a certain tract of 5.7 acres
of land belonging to said City and located in Tyrrell Park in Jefferson
County, Texas, be, and the same is hereby in all things ratified, coni®
firmed and validated.

PASSED by an affirmative vote of the City Commission this the 2 O
day of A. D. 1940.
