An ordinance to amend Article 523 of Chapter 45 of an ordinance -
amending Article 523 of Chapter 45, defining the stock limit of the
City of Beaumont and to repeal Article 523 of Chapter 45 of an
ordinance passed at a regular session of the City Council, held

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT, TEXAS,
That Article 523, Chapter 45 of the Revised Ordinances of the
City of Beaumont,be so amended as to hereafter read as follows,
to -wit: Article 523, the running at large of horsed, mules, jacks,
jennets,.ca.ttle, sheep, goats or geese within so much of the limits
of Beaumont, as is included wit-�in the following boun,-,aries, is
herebir declardd to�Va nuisance,viz:
Beginning at a point on Long -Avenue at its intersection with
J_ �.kes Bayou; thence in a -esterly direction, a distance of about
three thousand and nine hundred (3900) feet to -the center line of
Gulf Street; thence south of Gulf Street, a distance of about
thirty one hundred and eighty (3180) feet -to -the center line of
South Street;'thence in a westerly direction on South Street to the
center line of the Gulf, Beaumont 8c Kansas City R. R., thence in
a south-easterly direction along the center &f said railroad track
a distance of about three thousand (3000) Feet to its crossing
with Railroad Avenue; thence southward on the center line of Rail -

road Avenue to t_le intersention of the center line of (Royal Street-,
thence on t'ne center lime of Royal Street to the intersection of the,
center line of Bibb Avenue ;thence southward on the center line of
Bibb Avanue to the intersection of ;;he west line of Ogden Addition
to the City of Beaumont; thence southward on the west line of Ogden
to the intersection of the center line of Bolivar Street; thence

Northward along the center line of Irving Street and said line
continued to the edge of the Neches Rived; thence up the Neches
River with its meanderings to Brakes Bayou; thence along the idge of
Brakes _ Bayou to the place of beginning.
That all ordinances and parts"of ordinances in conflict
with the- above -boundaries of stock limits be and the same- ar-e-
hereby repealed.
