An Ordinance adoptlw the special Charter ad . the city -of Beaumont.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Beaumont Texas.
Sec.l . That. the Special Charter of the City of Beaumont Texas, as
enacted by the 'Legisl acre of . the State of Texas, at its Twenty
Si xed Session, and ,Which was Entitled an Act. to incoroorate the City

ries,which became a --law on the 10th day of May A,D.189�,is hereby
enactsd as the law of the City of Beaumont Texas,and shall bs of
full force and effect from and after the passage -of thIs ordinance
Sec.2.That all ordinance of the city of Bdaumout in force and effect
at the time of the; passage , of, said charter as far as the-. provisions
thereof may be applicabl.a under said charter are hereby re --enacted .
re -ordained and shall be,tbe. ordinances_of the.-alty_of.-Baaumont:, --
until amended, repealed or a new code of ordlnanc6t shall bei -enacted.
Sec.3.That th.-s ordinance shall,.,be in force and. effect •from and .after
its passage.
