AN ORDINANCE
Granting to the Hinz Rice Killing Co. franchise
for side track on Austin and Pearl Streets.

Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Beaumont,
in regular session assembled;-
Section
ssembled;-
Section 1;
That the Hinz Rice Eilling Co. be and it is
hereby granted the right and privilege to construct or cause to be con-
structed, a side track connecting with ldZe Beaumont Wharf & Terminal Com-
pany's track on Austin street, at a point towit;-
One hundred and twenty five (125) feet West of the intersec-
tion of said Austin street with Pearl Street; thence along Austin Street
on North side thereof and in an Easterly direction across intersection
of Pearl Street to a point where, by pursuing the same general direction,
said side track will leave said street passing on to the property pur-
chased for said Company's Rice IM1.
Section 2; -
This franchise is granted on condition -Lat

Co. will immediately after the construction
of
said side
track, place
said street so traversed by said side track
and
the crossing thereon, in good passable condition, and perpetually so
maintain the same under direction of the Street and Bridge Committee of
the City of Beaumont.

Ude; your Comrsittee, to vuhori was referred the ordinance grant-
ing to the Hinz Rice Milling Co. a franchise on Austin Street and across
the intersection of Pearl street therewith, have had sense under consider-
-tion, and I 'ars directed by the Committee to report the same back to the
City Council, with the recommendation that it do pass.
