and Texarkana & Fort Smith Railway Company, to swtich cars and trains
upon the railroad switch track on Main Street, from the Beaumont Lumber
Company's Mills to the intersection of College Street with said Main
Street switch.
Section 1: Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of
Beaumont, that the Beaumont Wharf & Terminal Company and the Texarkana
& Fort Smith Railway Company, be, and they are hereby granted the priv-
ilege and right.to operate their locomotives and cars, over and upon the
Railroad switch track and tracks leading from the saw mill and planer
of the Beaumont Lumber Company, Northward, up Main Street as far as the
intersection of College and Main Streets, in so far as may be necessary
to enable -said Beaumont Wharf & Terminal Company and said Texarkana &

cilitate the transportation of the product of said mills to the main line
of the said Beaumont Wharf & Terminal, Company; provided that said
rights and privileges herein granted shall not exclude the Texas & New
Orleans Railroad Company from the use and enjoyment of the like privi-
leges and franchises, over said switch tracks and street as have hereto-
fore bean granted said Texas & New Orleans Railroad Company by the City
Council of the City of Beaumont, .and, provided further, that said Beau-
mont Wharf & Terminal Company and said Texarkana & Fort Smith Railway
Company shall use such.switch and street only for the purposes herein-

mont Thad & Terminal Company and 'said Texarkana & Fort Smith Railway
Company shall use such switch and street only for the purposes herein-
before stated, and that their use thereof shall only extend up said
street as far as its intersection_ with College Street; and said Beau-
mont Wharf & Terminal Company, Texarkana & Fort Smith Railway Company
and Teras & New Orleans Railroad Company, shall, in the operation of

their switch trains over and upon said switch tracks and Main Street, throw
no obstacles in the way of each other, which may prevent or be calculated
to prevent, the joint use and enjoyment of said street and switch tracks
therein, as granted them respectively•by the City of Beaumont. I
_Section 2; _ It is further ordained that all ordinances _and -ts___

of ordinances heretofore passed by the City Council of the City of Beau-
mont, in so far as they may conflict with the provisions of this ordinance,
be and the same are hereby repealed. I
