ALLEY LOCATED IN BLOCK NUMBER 13 OF THE J OACHIMI ADDI-
TION TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONT$ RUNNING EAST AND WEST
BETWEEN AVENUE H AND AVENUE I. ,
WHEtREAS, a petition duly signed by E. p.
McEvoy, Sam Fertitta, John Glaviano, Joe Coco, C. E,
Broussard, Secretary of the Jefferson -Broussard Holding
Company, andStella Ward, owners of all the property
located in Block 13 of the Joachiri Addition to the City
of Beaumont, running east and west, between Avenue H and
Avenue I, abutting on said alley, has been presented to
the City COnmission of the City of Beaumont, requesting
that the said alley be vacated and closed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the alley located in Block Number 13 of
the Joachimi Addition to the City of Beaumont, running
east and west, betweenAvenue H and Avenue I, be, and the
same is hereby authorized to be vacated and closed., -and
that the title to such alley shall revert to and become
the property of the respective owners of the land in said
block bordering on said alley, as provided by law- provid-
ed, however, that the closing of this alley shall in no
way affect the. rights of the City as to placing and main-
taining therein of any sewer or water lines, or telephone,
telegraph, or electric lines, wires, poles or cables, or-
any
rany other service or utility of the City, or the right to
grant franchises to persons or corporations to place and
maintain therein any such sewer or water lines, or tele-
phone.,

of which rights are hereby reserved.
