AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE RATE OF TAXATION AND LEVYING THE SAME FOR
THE YEAR 1902.
,, Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Beaumont Texas:
S ection 1.
be as follows:
That the rate of taxation for the ,year 1902 shall

cents on each one hundred dollars valuation of all of all property
subject to taxation within the limyts of said city.
There is hereby levied on all occupations taxable by the laws
of the State of Texas, a sum equal to one half the amount levied
and collected by the State of Texas for said occupations.
Section 2. That the above and foregoing rate of taxation
is hereby levied for the year 1902, and is . hereby assessed and or-
dered collected for the year,/90A,
Section 3. That this ordinance take affect and be in force
from and after its passage.
