Be it ordained by the City Council of Beaumont;-Ihat an
Ordinance heretofore enacted on the day of
1901 and approved by D. P. Wheat Mayor on the ✓ day of
1901, the same being an Ordinance to prevent
and suppress the sales of pools upon horse races and to pre-
vent the operation and conducting of turf exchanges within
the City limits of Beaumont, be, and the same is hereby de-
clared repealed.
