BE IT ORBAI= BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF T]IiE CITY OF BEAUMOITT :
Sec. 1.
------ The -r -fight to-1ay�ssde–tracks;-s�ur"s--and switches from -the-- – `-
East leg -,of the X which crosses Plock 2 of the Ian Warmel Addition,
across Holmes Avenue at any point between 72ilam and Tashington
Streets to connect with the frd�ight depot, and for loading and unloading
purposes, is hereby granted to the Texarkana and Fort Simith Railway
Company.
Sec. 2.
Any side tracks, spurs or switches so built or constructed
across Holmes Avenue between Mila:,� and Washington Streets under Sec.
1 hereof, shall be built on -the grade of Holmes Avenue, which grade
shall be furnished by the City .Engineer, and said side tracks, spurs
ant• shall be built and constructed under the immediate super-
visioj, of the said City engineer, acid shall be permanently maintained

.Such side tracks, spurs or switches so constructed across
Holmes Avenue as above provided, shall be filled in between the tracks
by said Railway Company with gravel, cinders, sand or plank,*which shall
at all times be maintained at the level of the top of the rails so that
travel with taraFons, buggies and vehicle's of all kinds shall not be inter-
fered

approaches to said trac'Ls on each side, which approaches and filling
shall be approved by the said City Engineer.

This Ordinance shall take-e7'fect and be in force from and after
its passage.
