Be It Ordained By the City Council of the City of Beaumont.
Section One.
That the Texas & New Orleans Railroad Compan,r be and it is hereby granted
the richt of way and the privilege to construct and operate a snitch or
spur A.track from a co ne tion lvith its present spur track on Hickor�r,._st_reet

Section Two. L,
The rights herein granted to the said Texas & N8w Orleans Railroad Cori-
pa.ny are so granted upon the express conditions that.said Rail Road Compa-
ny,its successors and assigns shall in 211 things strictly comply with
all. provisions of the City Charter of the City of Beaumont and any ani
qpd all ordinances that may be la.,ffiilly passed by the City Council regula-
ting rail road tracks,turn outs and switches within the city limits and
the keeping in good repair and condition all street and alley crossings
interse6ted by said switch and track.That said Pail Road CoTqpany shall
and will fill in between its ties and rails,and between its present
switch track and the one to lie constructed hereunder with rock,shell,
gravel or sand,a,nd peep the same ballasted with such material so that the
same shall at all times be in condition for ordinary traffic over,across
and along the same,and construct its said track on the proper grade as.

Section Three.

twelve (12) years from the date of final passage and approval by the

Section Your.
The rights and privileges herein granted shall be effective and shall
accrue in favor of the said Rail Road Company only upon the filing of a
written acceptance of the terms hereof,the said acceptance to be execut-
ed by the proper officers of the said Texas & NE7T Orleans Railroad Company
and filed with the City Secretary, of this city within thirty days from the
approval hereof by the Mayor.

1906, by ordinance finally passed and approved on said date,
