AND TO CONTD✓CT WITH MANUFACTURES OF ALL KINDS,AND ALL BUSINESS HOUSES
BE IT AINHD BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE- CITY OF 'BEAUMONT:
SECTION FIRST. -
That the city of Beaumorit'does hereby grant,to Jno: C,Ward�
Jno. N,Gilbert, W.Scott Heywood! Dewey -Heywood ,Aand-J.F.Keith; and to
such others persons firms or associations as may hereafter become assoc41
-
iated with -theme or to such company as-they.rmay organize for the purpose
of suplying gas or oil to the city. of Beaumont, the right .to lay,
construct and maintain pipes of�any description found ndcessary for the
purpose of conveying gas or oil from any gas or oil wells as they may
see proper, to and 'through 'the city of Beaumont, to be used for any and
all purposes. towhich gas or oil can be aplied or used„ -
SECOND SECTION.
It is fur obtained that the said Jno. C:Ward; Jno. N*Gilbert,

W.Scott_Heywood, Dewey Heywood,^ and J,F.Keith shall have -the right to
use any and all the streets and -alleys and public grounds of the City of
Beaumont, within the present City Limits and all additions that may
hereafter .,taken In -'the City Limits fot the- purpose of laying pipes for
the conveying gas .and oil for 'the full period of Fifty Years on the'
SECTION THIRD.
Be it. further.*IAained that the said Jno. C.Ward, Jn*. NeGilbert,
W.Scott Heywood, Dewey Heywood,. Ld J.F.Aeith or their assigns, shall
have the right at any time to connect with any pipes that they shall have
laid into any factoryss, ,business houses of , all. descriptions and of
Whatever kind, -or private houses that they mai* see, proper! for the
purpose of 'furnishing gas or oil ,f,or any purpose it may be -used and that �
they shall -have the right to charge a reasonable theref6r.

SECTION FOURTH*
Be it further ebtained that all pipes of an, and every description
laid shall shall be under the direction and supervision of the 8hairman.
