B E I T 0 R D A I N T D by the City Council of the
City of Beui)yfiont :
SECTION I. That all locomotives operated over, along and
upon any street or portion of street in the City of Beaumont,
in which good is used as fuel, shall be furnished with good
and sufficient spark arrr-.stens.
SECTION II. Any person or persons, corpor...tions or reeeiv-
er, trustee or any agbnt, servant or eyTployee of such corpora -
tion; reeeil-er or trustee, violating the provision$of this or-
dinance shall be fined in any swag not less than Five and not
more than Twenty-five Dollars, and' each and every day that;,,
locomotive Er? -1 shall be operated without good and sufficient
spark arrest9r4, shall be deemed and constitute a separate of-.
fc�nse and be punishable as such.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall_ take effect and be in
force from and after its passage, approval and publication.
