tax is levied and assessed �s hereinafter described, together with the

name or names of the owners thereof, and the proportionate amount of the
cost of said paving and the coat of said curbing to be borne and paid
for by such oviner or owners , &js shown .by the roll . prepared by the , City
Engineer of•the City of Beaumont, which said amount is hereby levied and

SEC 2, That the said tax so. levied and,asse'ssed shall become
due acid payable upon the -completion of the ,paving upon the street on.
which -said lot, part of lot, block ems' tract of land fronts or abuts.
SEC. 9. That the amount of the tax -.hereby levied.and.assessed,
together with -;the cost• of collecting—same-%--and. -ten per -cent, i'nterest' per
annum; from date same, is due until paid, is -.,hereby declaredto be a lien
against said lot;' part , of lot, 'block or tract of, land, and shall also be
a 'personal eh?.rge or claim against the owner or owners " thereof. '
