BE IT ORDAINED by the City council of the City of Sec. I. Beaumont;AThat Articles 148 and 149, Chapter 14 of the Revised Ord,inancegof the City of Beaumont be, andthe same are hereby amended, so as to read as follows: - ARTICLE: 148: That every practicing physician of this city is hereby required, whenever a patient under his care dies, to furnish a certificate .of such death, and the cause thereof, to the City Health officer, who r9 eg stem _it in a book kept for that purpo-se., The certificate shall as near as possible state the age, sex, color, residence and place of birth, as well as the occupation of the deceased, and whether married or sin- gle if known: And every physician or mid -wife attending at the birth of a child shall furnish a certificate of such birift to the City Health Officer, who shall register it in a book kept for that purpose. S>>ch certificate shall shovr the sex of the child. When any person dies without the care of a physio an the City Health Officer shall record such fact, and state as near as possible the age, sex, color, residence and place of birth, and occupation of the di eceased,' and (tether mprried or single, if known.
