AN ORDINANCE
Levying and assessing a tax upon lot No. 175 in Block No. 32
of the City of Beaumont, Texas, and upon Lot No. 176 in Block
No. 32 of the City of Beaumont; said property being owned by
the estate of H. L. Gray deceased, for the proportionate amour
due by the said estate as ownerrof said property, for the pav-
ing and curbing ot, that portion of College Stree-'1 in the City
of Beaumont, upon f1iich said property- abuts, -accori:ing, to the
roll prepared by the City Engineer of the City of Beausmont.

City of Beaumont:
SEC.1. That there is hereby levied and assessed as a
tax upon. lot No. 175 in Block No. 32 of the City of Beaumont
the sun of Two Hundred and Ninety --four & 99/100 (;294.99) Dol -
lays and that there is hereby levbd and assessed a:s.a tax upon
Lot No. 176 in Block No. 32 of the City of Beaumont, the sun
of Two Hundred and Ninety-four & 99%100 (0294.99) Dollars.
The said lots in said bloch being ow.ed by the estate of H.L.
Gray deceased, and the said swns being the proportionate amount
due by the said estate as owner of said property, for the pav-
ing and. curbing on that portion of College Street upon which
said property abuts, according to the roll prepared by the
City Engineer of the City of Beaumont.
SEC.2. That the said tax so levied and assessed shall
become due and payable upon the completion of the paving and
curbing on that portion of College Street upan which said lots
in said block abut.
SEC.a. That the amount of the tax hereby levied and
assessed u-t,.on Lot No. 1?5 in Blocr- No. 32, together with the
cost of collection ;arise and ten per cent interest from date of
Sarre is due until paid, is hereby declared to be a lien upon
said lot and shall also be a personal charge upon the estate
f H. L. Gray deceased: And that the amount of the tax hereby
levied and assessed upon Lot. I7o. 1705 in Block No. 32 together

with the costa of collecting same and. ten per cent interest
from the date same is due until paid, is hereby declared to be
a lien upon said lot and shall also be a personal charge upon
the e state of H. L. Gray_ decea sed.. _. _
SEC.4. That this ordinance shall take effect,a'nd be
in force from and after the date of its passage.
