-.AUTHORIZING THE VACATING AND CLOSING OF THE ALLEY
LOCATED IN- BLOCK NUMBER THIRTEEN (13) OF THE OGDEN ADDITION
TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS. -
WHEREAS, a petition duly signed by Dr. and Mrs. Joe
Record,_ J. E. Pace, C. S. Giglio, Joe Faraci, J. IV's Pivoto,
J'. Austin Barnes,- ivii s s ; Ray-,Leicht, . Willard H. Leicht and J. J.
.-Donnelly, owners of all the property located in Block Number
Thirteen (13) of the Ogden Addition to the City of Beaumont
abutting on said alley; has been presented to the City Comm-
ission of the City of. Beaumont, reque-sting= that—the-.said alley
be vacated and closed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the alley located in Block Number Thirteen (13)
of -the Ogden Addition to the City of Beaumont be, and the same
is hereby authorized to be vacated and closed, and that the
tithe to such alley shall revert to and become the property of
the respective owners -of the land in said block bordering on
said alley, as provided by law; provided, however, that the
closing of this alley shall in no way affect the rights of the
i-
City -as to placing and maintaining therein of any .sewer or
water lines, or telephone., telegraph, or electric lines, wires,
poles.,- or cables, or any other service .or utility of the City,
or the right o grant franchises to persons or corporations to
place and maintain therein any such sewer or water lines,- or
telephone, telegraph, or electric lines, wires, poles. -or cables`,
or any other service or utility .of the.` City; all of which rights
are hereby reserved.
