_alaries and fees of office of the City Officers of the City
of Beaumont Texas for the term beginning; Ap]1ZI906 and ending in April
1908.
Be it OrdainQd Ry the "City Council of the City of.Beaumont Texas.
Section I
That the salaries and fees of office to be paid to the respective offi-
cials' of the City of Beauno'nt for the ,term commencing in April ,1906 and
ending; in April. 1908 shall be,and the. same are,hereby fixed at the fol-
lowing amounts:
Mayor.
The Payor shall receive a salary of ��X. per , annum and. shall ,re-
ceive no fees or perquisites of -ny kind in addition. thereto:
Marshall
The City Marshall' shall receive a salary of � �_ er annum and no.
additional fees or perquisites of any kind,and all feP.s heretofore assess-
ed and collected in' -favor of the City I1arshall shall be assessed and
collected for and on behalf of the cit,, and shall he paid into the Gene,-

City Secretary.
Thp. City Secretary shall receive a'salary of per annum and

all fees or perquisites heretofore taxed and collected in favor of said
officer shall hereafter be taxed. and collected for' and on behalf of the
city and paid into . the General Fund of . the; city..

Thi City Attorney- shall,in consideration1his services rendered to the
cij:lr,rc-ce.ive a fee of $p2.50. in each case 'in, the. Corporation Court,where
the DAfsndant enters a plea; of guilt,,' and a fee : of Five Dollars($5.00) fln .
each case in saidCour't;-whr-�rr-in -the De f��nda.nt• enters a plea of "not
guilty-" and is convicted on,such plea;Provided.thAt'in no case shall any
fee be paid to the City Attorney in any of, such cases unless the defendant
shall have raid the fine. and costs assessed against him in cash.The City,
Attorney shall in 'addition thereto receive the fees in tax suits as here-

The max Assessor. and Collector shall rectivc a salary of er
annur_1;And all feeSor perquisites heretofore accruing to said offic6r

--The City Recorder,or Judge of the Corporation Court,shall receive a salary
