BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Council hereby approves the award of a contract to Gulf Coast Electric
Co., Inc., of Beaumont, Texas, in the estimated amount of $106,200.00 for the
installation of Fleetzoom Remote Monitoring Units related to possible power outages
and flooding of fifty-one (51) sewer lift stations and eight (8) underpass pump stations;
and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute a contract with Gulf Coast Electric Co., Inc., of Beaumont, Texas,
for the purposes described herein.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 16th day of
