BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to apply for and receive funding
through the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Aviation Division for a
Routine Airport Maintenance Program (RAMP) Grant in the amount of $50,000.00 for
the purpose of operating costs at the Beaumont Municipal Airport including, but not
limited to, taxiway lighting, runway maintenance, airspace right-of-way tree clearance,
satellite service and quarterly FAA inspections for the Automated Weather Observation
System (AWOS).
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 28th day of
August, 2018.
