BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to receive funding in an amount
up to $176,775.00 through the Department of Homeland Security DR -4272 Hazard
Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) to implement long-term hazard mitigation measures
following a federal disaster declaration; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute all documents necessary to accept grant funding through the
Department of Homeland Security DR -4272 Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP)
in an amount up to $176,775.00.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
