WHEREAS, on April 16, 2018, the City of Beaumont Planning Commission
recommended the approval of a request for the conveyance and dedication of private
streets and infrastructure to the City of Beaumont for Oak Trace Subdivision with the
following conditions:
• Require the submission and filing of a preliminary and final plat to be paid
for by the applicants.
• Identification of private common areas and facilities on the final plat and
placement of a note on the final plat stating that maintenance of these
areas is to be provided by the Home Owners Association.
WHEREAS, City Council finds that the request to convert the private streets and
other infrastructure to public ownership is in the best interest of the City of Beaumont;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby,
in all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT City Council approves the request to convert the private streets and other
infrastructure for Oak Trace Subdivision to public ownership subject to satisfying the
following conditions:
• Require the submission and filing of a preliminary and final plat to be paid
for by the applicants.
• Identification of private common areas and facilities on the final plat and
placement of a note on the final plat stating that maintenance of these
areas is to be provided by the Home Owners Association.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted
in strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code,
Chapter 551.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 24th day of
