BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Council hereby approves the award of a contract to Casco
Industries, Inc., of Houston, Texas, the sole source for Globe Manufacturing Co.
equipment, for the purchase of an estimated quantity of forty-nine (49) sets of fire
protective clothing for firefighters at $2,425.00 per set for an estimated total cost of
$118,825.00; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute a Contract with Casco Industries, Inc., of Houston, Texas, for the
purposes described herein.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
