BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT-
THAT the City Manager or the Chief Financial Officer be and they are hereby authorized
to execute all documents necessary to accept funding from the Texas Department of
State Health Services (DSHS) for the Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PNEP)
Grant in the amount of $145,398.00, effective July 1, 2017, through June 30, 2018, to
assist the Beaumont Public Health Department's Public Health Emergency
Preparedness Program with planning and performing activities and services that will
improve and strengthen the local public health infrastructure within the State of Texas.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 4th day of
April, 2017.
