WHEREAS, bids were solicited for a six (6) month contract, with the option of two
(2) renewals of a six (6) month term at the same pricing as the awarded contract, for the
purchase of Sodium Hydroxide for use by the Water Utilities Department; and,
WHEREAS, TDC, LLC, of Houston, Texas, submitted a bid for an estimated total
expenditure of $225,000.00 in the unit amounts shown below:

and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by TDC, LLC, of
Houston, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby,
in all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT the bid submitted by TDC, LLC, of Houston, Texas, for a six (6) month
contract, with the option of two (2) renewals of a six (6) month term at the same pricing
as the awarded contract, for the purchase of Sodium Hydroxide in the unit prices shown
above for an estimated total expenditure of $225,000.00 be accepted by the City of
Beaumont; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute a contract with TDC, LLC, of Houston, Texas, for the purposes
described herein.
