WHEREAS, on January 12, 2017, three (3) bids were received for the Loeb
Water Well Site -Well No. 3 Rehabilitation Project; and,
WHEREAS, the City Water Utilities Engineer evaluated the three (3) and found
the bids received to be incomplete as per the contract documents supplied to all
interested bidders; and,
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of City of Beaumont Water Utilities
Engineering Division to reject the bids and that the project be rebid at a later date; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it is not in the best interest of the citizens of
Beaumont to accept the bids for the Loeb Water Well Site -Well No. 3 Rehabilitation
Project and that each should be rejected;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby,
in all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT the City Council does hereby reject the bids for the Loeb Water Well Site -
Well No. 3 Rehabilitation Project.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 24th day of
January, 2017.
