HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 16-056ORDINANCE NO. 16-056 ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 24.06, SECTIONS 24.06.008(3)(A) AND 24.06.008(3)(B) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS PROVIDING FOR MINIMUM WIDTH AND DEPTH OF RECREATIONAL VEHICLE LOTS AND MINIMUM DEPTH OF RECREATIONAL VEHICLE PAD SITES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL; AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: Rarfinn 1 THAT Chapter 24, Article 24.06, Section 24.06.008(3)(A) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Beaumont, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 24.06.008 Minimum standards for type "C" recreational vehicle park (3) Recreational vehicle lots. Each and every recreational vehicle lot shall conform to the following standards: (A) Provide a minimum width of twenty (20) feet and a minimum depth of forty (40) feet. Section 2. THAT Chapter 24, Article 24.06, Section 24.06.008(3)(B) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Beaumont, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 24.06.008 Minimum standards for type "C" recreational vehicle park (3) Recreational vehicle lots. Each and every recreational vehicle lot shall conform to the following standards: (B) Provide a recreational vehicle pad site which will provide a hard surface for the placement of one recreational vehicle. Minimum pad size shall be eleven (11) feet in width and thirty-five (35) feet in depth. Pads shall be impervious to plant material. Section 3. That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause of phrase of this ordinance, or the application of same to a particular set of persons or circumstances, should for any reason be held to be invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining portions of this ordinance, and to such end, the various portions and provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. Section 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are repealed to the extent of the conflict only. Section 5. That any person who violates any provision of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punished, as provided in Section 1.01.009 of the Code or Ordinance of Beaumont, Texas.
