WHEREAS, bids were solicited for a contract to provide all labor, materials,
equipment and supplies for the Sanitary Sewer Lift Station Rehabilitation -Folsom Road,
Major Drive & San Anselmo Street Projects; and,
WHEREAS, BDS Constructors, LLC d/b/a MK Constructors, of Vidor, Texas,
submitted a bid in the amount of $254,463.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by BIDS
Constructors, LLC d/b/a MK Constructors, of Vidor, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby,
in all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT the bid submitted by BDS Constructors, LLC d/b/a MK Constructors, of
Vidor, Texas, in the amount of $254,463.00 for a contract to provide all labor, materials,
equipment and supplies for the Sanitary Sewer Lift Station Rehabilitation -Folsom Road,
Major Drive & San Anselmo Street Projects be accepted by the City of Beaumont; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute a contract with BDS Constructors, LLC d/b/a MK Constructors, of
Vidor, Texas, for the purposes described herein.
