WHEREAS, bids were received for the Tyrrell Historical Library Exterior Fagade,
Masonry Roof Repairs and Restoration Project; and,
WHEREAS, Marsh Waterproofing, Inc., of Vidor, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of $297,420.00, as shown on Exhibit "A," attached hereto and made a part
hereof for all purposes; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Marsh
Waterproofing, Inc., of Vidor, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby,
in all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT the bid submitted by Marsh Waterproofing, Inc., of Vidor, Texas, in the
amount of $297,420.00, as shown on Exhibit "A," attached hereto and made a part
hereof for all purposes, for the Tyrrell Historical Library Exterior Fagade, Masonry, Roof
Repairs and Restoration Project be accepted by the City of Beaumont; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute a contract with Marsh Waterproofing, Inc., of Vidor, Texas, for the
purposes described herein.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 8th day of
December, 2015.
