Description
The collection consists of 34 aerial photographs, most approximately 20"x26" in size and 1" equals 200'
in scale. Areas photographed include:
1) Pine Island Bayou from US Hwy 69 crossing to the Neches River
2) Neches River from confluence of Pine Island Bayou to the Port of Beaumont
3) Downtown Beaumont
4) Areas south and southwest of downtown, including Lamar University and US Hwy 69
5) Two interchanges of US Hwy 69 and Interstate 10.
Four pages of selected copies from fairly modern maps (1990s) are marked to show areas of coverage of
each photograph. The marked numbers correspond with the assigned numbers of the maps.
