Texas Realty Company Deeds, 1896-1946
DESCRIPTION
Hal G. Land, a Mississippi native born in 1869, lived in Beaumont most of his life and worked in real
estate and for a time as the county clerk. He was considered an authority on lands in the Beaumont area
and was owner of the Texas Realty Company, established in 1889. He died in October of 1951. This
small collection consists of correspondence, property deeds, and small pocket books of Hal G. Land and
the Texas Realty Company involving properties in Chambers, Galveston, and Jefferson Counties.
