Pilot Club Scrapbooks, 1938-1972
Description
Pilot International was founded in Macon, Georgia, in 1921. The club is one of five
international classified service clubs for women. Membership in Pilot International is by
invitation and limited to executive business and professional women. The Beaumont chapter
of Pilot International was founded in 1937.
Scope and Content
The collection consists of seven scrapbooks as of November 1995. Three of these
scrapbooks have been dismantled and stored in vertical file folders, housed in halfcubicfeet
boxes. The various scrapbook volumes cover the following years:
1937-1942
1939-1940
1940-1941 (received 1st place award in Pilot International competition)
