WHEREAS, on September 23, 2014, City Council, by Ordinance No. 14 -043,
approved the tax roll as certified by the Jefferson County Tax Appraisal District with a
taxable value of $6,891,134,490; and,
WHEREAS, it has been determined and the Council so finds there is no change in
the taxable value of the Grand Recap;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby, in
all things, approved and adopted; and,
That the City Council, pursuant to the Texas Property Tax Code, Section 26.09,
hereby approves the Grand Recap of the appraisal roll for the tax year 2014 (FY 2015) with
a taxable value of $6,891,134,490, which shall constitute the City's tax roll.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 28th day of
