BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the Mayor be and she is hereby authorized to receive funding in the amount of
$188,831 through the FY 2014 Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP), State
Homeland Security Program (SHSP) forthe purchase of sixty -two (62) ruggedized portable
radios, with accessories, for use by the Police Department; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Mayor be and she is hereby authorized to
execute all documents necessary to accept grant funding through the FY 2014 Homeland
Security Grant Program (HSGP), State Homeland Security Program (SHSP) for the
purchase of sixty -two (62) ruggedized portable radios, with accessories, for use by the
Police Department in the amount of $188,831.
