RESOLUTION NO.14-091
WHEREAS, bids were solicited for the construction of a new Fire Station No. 11;
WHEREAS, N & T Construction Company, Inc., of Beaumont, Texas, submitted a
bid in the amount of $2,780,000; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by N & T
Construction Company, Inc., of Beaumont, Texas should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby, in
all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT the bid submitted by N & T Construction Company, Inc., of Beaumont, Texas
in the amount of $2,780,000 for the construction of a new Fire Station No. 11 be accepted
by the City of Beaumont; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute a contract with N & T Construction Company, Inc., of Beaumont,
Texas, for the purposes described herein.
